It's a wonderful ward holiday series
It’s a Wonderful Ward, presented by DC², is a month-long holiday event series across Ward 5—featuring The Winter Festival at the U.S. National Arboretum, clothing swaps, donations, workshops and the 11th Annual Procrastinator’s Holiday Market.

Now in its 11th year, the Procrastinator’s Holiday Market (PHM) is DC’s favorite tradition for last-minute shoppers, local supporters, and community champions.
DC² MARKETs
In an effort to increase food accessibility in our neighborhoods, DC Squared is working with community partners and neighbors to host a monthly market that provides farm-fresh groceries, and your hot cup of Joe! Markets will tentatively be taking place weekly between June and October.

We’re getting exponential with our impact! Between quarterly events, small business grants, food access initiatives, and neighborhood growth strategies, DC Squared is THE hub for community growth in Northeast DC. Submit an application for our Small Business Grant for an opportunity to receive funding and additional support from our team!

Formerly Friends of Rhode Island Avenue, DC Squared encompasses Bladensburg Road Main Street and Rhode Island Avenue Main Street, but that’s just the beginning!
